Creating, maintaining and promoting a moral and ethical standard for the profession. Establishing and supporting professional process server education and training programs. Improving relations between the profession and the legal community and the general public. Promoting any legislation and/or rule change that will benefit the profession. Opposing any Federal, State or Local Legislation and/or rule change that may harm the profession.

Membership
- Who can join:
- Regular (voting) membership for persons affiliated with process serving for 1+ year and doing business in MD, VA, DE, or DC; Associate (non-voting) membership for those outside the area or industry affiliates; no felonies without pardon
- Annual Dues:
- Regular: $50/year or $75/2 years; Associate: $50/year; Directory listing: additional $50/year
