Mighty Mike Reid and the Mighty Success Team hosted a mastermind for process servers, covering SEO, Google Workspace vs. Dino Dot, updates to the Mighty Processor platform (new jobs board), service expansion, tax planning, networking, and the Process Server Daily podcast relaunch. They also discussed quality service, marketing, and upcoming CRM/AI tools with a $50 minimum service fee.

Notes

  • Meeting Start and Introductions Mark Success Team and Rhino Justice greeted each other, waiting for others to join (00:00:00). Mighty Mike Reid started the meeting, welcoming everyone and explaining it's a weekly mastermind for process servers to network and discuss business issues (00:03:28). He introduced his team, including Mark, Marion (SEO), Netty (design), and Edge (VA manager) (00:04:25) (00:07:18). Participants like Rhino Justice (Adele) from Houston and Jessica Claycomb from Seattle introduced themselves and their businesses (00:09:52).

  • Website SEO Review Mighty Mike Reid reviewed Jessica Claycomb's website SEO report, highlighting a good page SEO score and organic keywords (00:12:34). He noted potential improvements in mobile load time by compressing images and hiding unnecessary elements on the mobile version (00:13:35) (00:15:32). Mary Support Team mentioned updating the audit summary report and fixing a broken link (00:17:36). Mighty Mike Reid emphasized the importance of regularly checking and updating websites for optimal performance and Google ranking (00:19:21).

  • Google Workspace for Email Rhino Justice inquired about using Google Workspace and whether a different email address was required. Mighty Mike Reid explained that Google Workspace allows using a custom domain for email (e.g., adele@rhinojustice.com) and is a reliable platform compared to Dino Dot, which Rhino Justice was using (00:21:13). Mighty Mike Reid recommended Google Workspace for its features and integration (00:23:44).

  • Mighty Processor Platform Updates Mighty Mike Reid discussed updates to the Mighty Processor platform, mentioning the development of a user-friendly interface and the upcoming launch of a jobs board (00:24:37). The jobs board will allow users to post and bid on jobs, with potential for direct payments and features like verified profiles (00:25:38) (00:27:27). Mighty Mike Reid is also considering minimum job prices and reaching out to larger firms to use the platform (00:26:36). Beta testers are needed to test the platform (app.mightyprocessor.com) and report bugs (00:24:37).

  • Expanding Service Capacity Jessica Claycomb asked about managing service expansion when job volume is currently low (00:28:23). Mighty Mike Reid advised maintaining current income streams until sufficient full-time work is available. He suggested networking with affiliates and focusing on the "be a backup" strategy to build clientele (00:29:36). Exploring PI work under supervision was also mentioned as a potential avenue for Jessica (00:31:38).

  • Tax Considerations for Income Rhino Justice raised the question of how much to save for taxes when aiming for a $10,000 monthly income. Mighty Mike Reid advised setting aside at least $3,000 per month for taxes (00:35:06). He strongly recommended paying taxes quarterly to avoid interest and penalties (00:35:57). Mighty Mike Reid also discussed strategies for managing taxes at higher income levels, including potential real estate investments and expense accounts, while emphasizing the importance of consulting with a tax professional (00:39:36) (00:43:08).

  • Networking and Building Relationships Mighty Mike Reid emphasized the value of personal connections and networking (00:08:58). He suggested visiting paralegal offices to build relationships and offering assistance (00:48:00). Building rapport with gatekeepers and other individuals encountered regularly can also make processes smoother (00:49:46).

  • Relaunch of Process Server Daily Podcast Mighty Mike Reid announced the relaunch of the Process Server Daily podcast. The podcast aims to reach a broad audience of process servers, and interviews will be a key part of the content (00:50:32) (00:52:54). Testimonials from community members will be incorporated into the podcast intro (00:51:31). Interested process servers with compelling stories are encouraged to reach out to be guests. Rhino Justice is scheduled to be a guest on the podcast (00:53:47). Panel discussions with process servers from the same local areas are also planned to discuss local laws and practices (00:54:43).

  • Maintaining Quality Service Rhino Justice expressed bewilderment at process servers who don't provide good service (00:55:43). Mighty Mike Reid suggested that some treat it as a part-time job, affecting their commitment (00:57:23). He stressed the importance of treating process serving as a full-time business with consistent effort and proactive engagement, including making regular calls to potential clients and building personal connections (00:58:07).

  • Building Relationships for Business Mighty Mike Reid discussed the value of building personal relationships, even mentioning flirting with paralegals in the past as a way to create connections. They emphasized that these connections can lead to business opportunities as people are more likely to give work to someone they have a rapport with (00:59:49). Mighty Mike Reid suggested engaging in friendly conversation and finding common interests with people in potential client offices (01:00:30).

  • Leveraging Location and Consistent Effort Mighty Mike Reid advised process servers to utilize their location effectively by noting attorney offices in their routing apps (01:01:11). They suggested stopping by these offices when in the area to introduce themself and build familiarity. Mighty Mike Reid stressed the importance of a long-term vision and consistent effort in building a successful process serving business in their local market (01:01:57).

  • Marketing and Community Involvement Mighty Mike Reid highlighted the significance of networking and making one's presence known in the industry, even through branding (01:03:41). They mentioned their dumpster company receiving a community award, illustrating the value of local engagement (01:02:47). Mighty Mike Reid encouraged participation in the Mighty Process Server community for support and knowledge sharing (01:03:41).

  • Mighty Process Server Platform Updates Mighty Mike Reid announced the free membership to Mighty Process Server, offering access to valuable information. They detailed the benefits of becoming a premium member, including a locked-in rate and upcoming CRM features with AI tools to streamline tasks like proof of service (01:04:43). Mighty Mike Reid mentioned the future integration of all licensed attorneys' email addresses for targeted retargeting campaigns (01:13:34).

  • Streamlining Proof of Service Mighty Mike Reid reminisced about the time-consuming process of manual proof of service before technology advancements (01:06:37). They contrasted this with the efficiency of using a system like Server Manager to input service details and generate proofs (01:08:06). Mighty Mike Reid emphasized that the upcoming app will further simplify this process, eliminating the need for late-night paperwork (01:05:39).

  • Technology and Industry Relevance Mighty Mike Reid emphasized the necessity of embracing technology to remain relevant in the process serving industry. They drew a comparison to historical technological achievements to underscore the current capabilities available (01:08:56). Mighty Mike Reid noted that those resistant to adopting technology may find themselves falling behind (01:14:34).

  • Support Team Updates and Directory Mighty Mike Reid spoke with the 123 Support Team about their efforts in contacting process servers to gather their information (01:10:27). The goal is to populate the Mighty Process Server directory with accurate contact details and rates to facilitate direct work opportunities. Mighty Mike Reid explained that this system benefits both the process servers and Mighty Process Server by streamlining the hiring process (01:12:20).

  • Minimum Pricing and Future Growth Mighty Mike Reid mentioned the implementation of a minimum service fee of $50 on the platform, acknowledging that while not ideal in all markets, it is significantly better than some current low rates. They expressed optimism about the future growth of Mighty Process Server and its potential to transform the industry (01:14:34). Mighty Mike Reid encouraged attendees to schedule individual meetings for further assistance (01:15:25).

Jessica Claycomb:
Nice. That's exciting.
Rhino Justice:
Yeah. I got things finally switched over like well I I think I told you I used rocket serves so I've got all that switched over with my logo and everything too this past week so that's good.
Mighty Mike Reid:
All right. All right. All right. You got your logo. You getting stuff switched. You got your purple hair, your violet hair. You're

Mighty Mike Reid:
Ready to start making videos. All these pretty ladies on my screen. And Mark, what's going on here? We got lots of people in here. Actually, other people here as well. So, welcome guys. Um, are we recording? Yes, we're already recording.

00:03:28

Mighty Mike Reid:
Okay. So, Netty, you're going to have to edit the beginning of this. I'm sorry. Okay.
Neddy Support:
No problem.
Mighty Mike Reid:
All right. Today is May 13th and this is our weekly mighty mastermind. We're going to get started and we're the goal here is for process servers to be able to come together to network and to bring whatever the issues you're dealing with in your business to the community. And uh someone here, if not me, someone is going to have the answer to it. We have lots of members inside our community. They have 30 years experience and they can come in and like, you know, really just dial in because they've they've been through the the the fire, right? They've been through the the of growing a business. I'm a marketing guy, so like I focus on that a lot. I focus on growth rather than, you know, necessarily savings and things like that. where some other people are better in those in in that realm.

00:04:25

Mighty Mike Reid:
There's some other faces on here you'll see that are um maybe uh from the Philippines and you're like, "Well, who are these people?" I have a whole team of people who do things. If you're a mighty premium member, you've uh signed up for a directory listing. You actually get all the all these people in some manner uh to help you, okay, for no extra charge. You got Mark, the success team manager. His goal is to make sure you know how to use Mighty Automation and the tools that are involved with Mighty Automation. And uh since we've started and we've launched the um the Mighty Litigator list, we're going through and scraping every state attorney list. And I'm and we're and we're calling them. The ones that don't have emails, we're calling. We're getting everybody. I'm trying to build the best litigator list. And what we're going to do is put it in your system for your local county. And everyone who is a member or signs up during the month of May is going to get three counties.

00:05:27

Mighty Mike Reid:
So their local county and the two count other counties that are around them uh to be able to upload. So like a tri county kind of thing that uh Mark is going to upload into your CRM if you're a mighty premium member. So I'm pretty excited about that because when I was new, I didn't know who to go to contact, who to talk to. I could Google them, but then you're like, you know, you just analysis paralysis. But I've removed all that from from you. You can't overanalyze this situation. You literally have a CRM. You're on the directory. You have a CRM and you can log into it and start making calls right away through the CRM if you wanted to. Or you can use your cell phone and just dial the person, call them and say, "Hey, I know you it looks like you probably already have a regular process server, but I was curious if I could be a backup server for you." If

00:06:19

Mighty Mike Reid:
this is a new concept, I need you to go inside the community, click on the classroom tab, scroll down to the challenge, or even any of the mastermind replays that say be the backup and watch them because I actually call attorney's offices live for you. and and and I've gotten clients for for a few of you guys in those calls. So, uh real quick, anyone who shares their screen gets an opportunity to be able to introduce themselves. I'm the uh I'm the president and CEO of 123 Legal Support. I own my own successful process serving company. Um I actually have two members of my team right here on here. You guys are welcome to bring your team members on as well. Rods is our newest team member of 123 and Jessica is uh been with us for a little bit and been crushing it. And uh appreciate you guys for coming on. So if you have questions um about California service, we do have them.

00:07:18

Mighty Mike Reid:
We do send stuff out all over the country. So they may reach out to you and find out your rates and stuff. We have Marion who is our SEO uh person. If you are a mighty premium member, she will do a complete analysis of your website for um well actually you don't have to you don't have to be a website customer of ours. Uh we will actually do it as if you're a mighty premium member. She'll actually set you up with a with a SEO complete SEO list, which I did not previously ask Jessica, but after we do introductions, Jessica, do you want to review your results? You
Jessica Claycomb:
Oh
Mighty Mike Reid:
can say
Jessica Claycomb:
yeah,
Mighty Mike Reid:
no.
Jessica Claycomb:
go for it. Yeah, go for it.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Okay. Because I when I saw I was like, guys, you shared it with her without sending it to me. I was like, no, because I just paid for this tool.

00:08:07

Mighty Mike Reid:
I don't know what it's going to show, right? And so, and then I was like, whoa, actually. And so, there's a couple things, uh, that we can fix on there actually pretty easily. And so, um, the report gave us like a full idea of what's going on with with, uh, with her website. So, we'll look at that here after we do introductions. And Netty is our, if you don't have a rate sheet, Netty is like fulltime designing and she is like a ninja. She's a Tik Tok superstar as well. if you want to go subscribe to her uh her gaming channel. Okay. And then of course our VA manager, Edge, who's make keeping us all in line, including myself. So that's the team that you're looking at here. If you're online and you don't want to share your screen, that's okay. You can still network with everybody. You can put it in the comments below on YouTube or you can just put it here in the chat because you're cool.

00:08:58

Mighty Mike Reid:
You're here inside the community already. Yes, it's definitely being recorded. Uh this is an icon. If you're having techn technology issues or it's new to you, this techn is new to you, feel free to to reach out. You might have to give your browser permission to, you know, to hear you or whatever, you know, that's a browser issue probably. Um so if you get any popups that say, hey, you know, give this app permission to record, you you got to say yes if you want to be able to come on and participate. But you're welcome to hang out in the chat as well. Okay, no worries. No worries at all. Uh Jessica Nadell. Yeah, so Jessica and Nadell, great examples. They came in, they put their information in the chat. A lot of times you'll come in and you'll just put your information in the chat. You'll connect with somebody in another part of the country that might want to hire you for the services you offer in your local area.

00:09:52

Mighty Mike Reid:
Okay? And that that's a big part of networking. So all right, let's go to the first person on my screen, Miss Rhino Justice of Adele with the cool new hairdo.
Rhino Justice:
So, my name is Adele and I'm with Rhino Justice, uh, president and CEO. Um, I go ahead and serve the Houston Galveistston area and so you can reach me at 28181 Rhino.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Check you out with the fancy phone. 28 Rhino. I can already hear like like a like a marketing thing, you know. 281 call 281 Rhino, you know. Oh, man. I love it. It's such a cool brand, too. So cool. All right, Miss Jessica.
Jessica Claycomb:
My name is Jessica Clayco. I own WA Prosay Process Servers. We're out of the Seattle, Washington area.
Rhino Justice:
Congratulations.
Jessica Claycomb:
We also do subpoena domestication in our local courts and I just got my PI license over the weekend. So, we'll see what that brings.

00:10:52

Mighty Mike Reid:
What? Over the weekend.
Jessica Claycomb:
Yep.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Just
Jessica Claycomb:
I
Mighty Mike Reid:
like that.
Jessica Claycomb:
did the class on Saturday. Four hours and uh we're in.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Wow, that's so cool. That's so cool.
Jessica Claycomb:
Yeah.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah, we got the little celebration uh little
Jessica Claycomb:
Thanks.
Mighty Mike Reid:
celebration things over here. Cool. Well, um that is so cool. I mean, being able to get your PI license really levels up your ability. And I've told people like you can I tell people like you can get it um even working for another PI, you can get uh license. Some states are very hard, right? So, it's very difficult. you know, there's 6,500 hours to get your own license. And, you know, for some people that are just serving all day, it doesn't really make sense. But if you can, it's definitely a good thing to to get set up.

00:11:37

Jessica Claycomb:
Yeah, I
Mighty Mike Reid:
All right.
Jessica Claycomb:
kind of got recruited by another PI. So, you have to work under somebody.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. Yeah. Wonderful. Wonderful. So, let's uh let's dive into this um this thing here. Let me bring up so many apps. Okay, I'm going to do a screen share. See if this works. Use operating systems. Share this screen. I think this is working. Let me know if you guys can see my screen. Okay. So, this is just like a quick uh quick shot, but Mary here, our awesome, we call her boss cuz she's like the boss. She's not bossy. She's just boss. So, um you can see my screen anybody.
Edj Support Team:
This mic.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Okay. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. All right.

00:12:34

Mighty Mike Reid:
So, um I think some stuff has been done, but this this was today. Um so, I like this. I like seeing a 100. Anytime you see a 100 on page SEO score, that's really good. You're just you've been really good about updating your SEO over and above what we do when we build websites at Mighty Website Builder. Um you've kind of went on and you taken the reins on this. So, this is definitely good. But this report, we could pull it for anybody who's a Mighty Premium member. If you have a directory listing, you are a Mighty Premium member. Just so you guys know, if you're on the website mighty processor.com, organic keywords, this is really good. This is really good having these keywords, focusing on uh increasing your keywords over time. This is really big. Backlinks. I This is all the stuff I teach you guys, like go find quality backlinks to other websites. Um, it doesn't have a great next to it.

00:13:35

Mighty Mike Reid:
I don't know if it ever will. I don't know if that's a thing for this report. We're still learning about these reports, but I but some websites have like, you know, a thousand. So, over time as you create new and new back I think for a process server website, this is great. Okay. Um, they've crawled 54 pages and there's some things there they would want to recommend. Okay. Uh, it looks like it's all good. So, the only thing I noticed on here, Jessica, and I, um, I'd love to kind of keep up with you on this and how this is going, but one thing we did for that Mary did for for our website is we had issues with mobile load time, whereas the desktop load time wasn't as bad, and then the mobile and the mobile load time was was um, well, two things. One thing on the desktop is you can compress the images. And I don't know if yours are compressed or not.

00:14:30

Mighty Mike Reid:
We'd have to check.
Jessica Claycomb:
Um, I don't think I have been
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah, if you compress them, they will they'll load really fast. I mean, 2 seconds is already pretty good, but if you if you compress them, it'll probably just load instantly, which is better. Google tracks that. Um,
Jessica Claycomb:
And the quality doesn't go down when it's compressed.
Mighty Mike Reid:
uh, not not really not really. uh desktop it like on a really nice big screen you might see uh maybe some where it'll like bring in the sides or um the best thing is just to test it compress them. I I like to use um um I love pdf.com and it'll compress images. It'll compress um there's different tools you can use but I would compress it and then re-upload them and then have them run the report for you again just to upload them. And then the other thing too is like one thing I noticed is when I went on the mobile version of my site, a couple different sites I was looking at as well that that scored low on this report is just hide.

00:15:32

Mighty Mike Reid:
You can hide certain sections. And when someone's on mobile too, like their intention level is usually really high versus someone who just wants to browse and look around your website. Like, so I have a different when you go to the landing page on my site, I have like a little almost like a link tree. This is the first thing to try to help direct them to where where they want to go. Order online, review our services, right? Contact us. Like all those buttons are right away different on mobile. So what you can do is just literally go to the images that that show up on mobile and hide them. maybe leave one or something like that. But but you can hide images on mobile and leave leave those same images u viewable on desktop and that will boost this up right away quite a bit. That's what I that's what I would recommend right away is just go ahead and I and I think with the images this will go up and I think this will bump up as well actually because the interactivity I was looking this up and um you can't respond.

00:16:36

Mighty Mike Reid:
See, it says like the page is blocked from responding being able to use your mouse or use the forms that are on the page until the images have finished loading. So, so I think with with just removing the images or even like compressing them as well, well, try compressing them first and maybe it fixes both. But if it doesn't, I would just remove half the images or most the images and and mobile will load right away. Um, if you do have like Mighty Process Server, we have a bunch of broken links because we re we are doing the redirects um because we changed it. I've mentioned it before, but we changed it from a code to your actual company name that shows up in the browser. Um um and so we have a bunch of broken links and so that's where this really comes into comes into play. If you have a bunch of links and a bunch of issues, you can actually go through them and then run the report again. It's kind of like your progress report.

00:17:36

Mighty Mike Reid:
Like if you're in school, uh uh you have an A. Uh you have an A. I'm not going to say plus. I'm not going to say min. I'm going to say you have an A. Okay. And
Jessica Claycomb:
is
Mighty Mike Reid:
if
Jessica Claycomb:
I
Mighty Mike Reid:
you
Jessica Claycomb:
think that's after they did the work yesterday though. I had I'm sure I had some broken stuff but Mark asked
Mighty Mike Reid:
Oh.
Jessica Claycomb:
me if he wanted me to fix like hot frog or something and then so I think this is the end result.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Oh, really? Okay, good. Good. Well, I'm glad I didn't know that. I'm glad. Uh
Jessica Claycomb:
Well, they can tell you better than me,
Mighty Mike Reid:
yeah, Mary. Okay, so um Mary, do you know about that? What you fixed?
Mary Support Team:
Yes, Mike.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Okay, tell us. Enlighten us.
Mary Support Team:
That was the updated um version of the audit summary report.

00:18:25

Mighty Mike Reid:
H. What was the broken links? Was it redirects or what?
Mary Support Team:
Um it's just the uh the listing for the hot hot frog, I guess. So the Google or Yeah, the link the link from that. So, I asked uh Mark to ask Jessica if that's um still an active listing.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Mary Support Team:
So, I updated it.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Okay. Yeah. So, sometimes it's just you have a link that's that's busted. If you do a blog post and you have a link that you directed people to, like a government listing, a government site that talks more about whatever you were talking about, you know, like a courthouse website, uh, the courts will often change and the links are broken and so you have to constantly update your website. Like I get some people are like, you know, what is the what hosting website? Why do I pay for that?

00:19:21

Mighty Mike Reid:
was like this is what we should have been doing all along really is checking your website constantly checking and if you're you know mighty premium member you don't have a website with us this is your way of editing your own site and going through and doing a little progress report so you can fix it yourself you know taking ch even if we do host your website for you you guys should still take charge of this you know take charge of it because your business it's your business like you need to make sure that your business is is doing what it needs to do and then Jessica's obviously on top of it and she's got 100% uptime. She's got like quick load speeds like um after the images are compressed, you will literally have like an A++ ranking website. And that's how you get, by the way, that's how you get put above other websites that are on Google. You will move up the ranking because you're goo that's goo that's that's a report directly from Google crawl.

00:20:14

Mighty Mike Reid:
you know, Neil Patel us his tool uses the Google console to search and and check um based on all the parameters that are important to Google, it gives you this report. So um if you guys find out more information, I don't pretend to know everything about this. So if you have more information you want to share or you things you find out, um we love to hear it. That's what the mastermind's all about. So, what else do we want to talk about um in today's in this week's mastermind? Any other ideas or so? If you guys are watching people as a uh request to join, right? Well, looks like we lost Brad. Yeah, we'll have to follow up with Brad, make sure he can get in next time. Not sure it's a technology thing or what. What do you guys want to talk about? What are we struggling with? Um, I got a list of things I could go through, but I don't want to just chat your ears off.

00:21:13

Rhino Justice:
So I know I need help on one thing u Mike and this is probably like the easiest thing. It's probably like if I just went ahead and go through the videos again, but I had spoke to you briefly on it. Is my email being what I have a question is if I do Google Workplace, do I have to have a different email address attached to that? If I
Mighty Mike Reid:
No, if you do Google Works, Google Workspace is like um like you get you get a full suite of services, but like basically it's for email. You sign up for Google Workspace, you get the email and you use the domain rhinojustice. So you'd have like you know info or Adele at rhinojustice.com. Is that what you mean?
Rhino Justice:
Yeah, cuz right now I have that their Dino Dot, but I just don't not like the platform or anything else on that or like even sometimes the speed of like loading. Like when you get emails, they should like come in right away and you expect them to load, not you open your email and you sit there waiting for it says loading and sometimes

00:22:16

Mighty Mike Reid:
What's
Rhino Justice:
stuff comes
Mighty Mike Reid:
that?
Rhino Justice:
in,
Mighty Mike Reid:
What's
Rhino Justice:
sometimes
Mighty Mike Reid:
that with?
Rhino Justice:
with
Mighty Mike Reid:
What's
Rhino Justice:
Dino
Mighty Mike Reid:
that with?
Rhino Justice:
Dot.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah, you were telling me about that before. Like I've never heard of anybody like just use Google. Just sign
Rhino Justice:
Yeah,
Mighty Mike Reid:
up for workspace
Rhino Justice:
that's what I was
Mighty Mike Reid:
your
Rhino Justice:
like
Mighty Mike Reid:
whole
Rhino Justice:
I tried to go ahead and do the chuper route because I was like, "All right, all these costs are all, you know, but yeah, it's not worth it. It's not worth it.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. Yeah. Google Workspace for sure. Like my whole team has Google Workspace. Google, they've essentially cornered the market in email. I know there's a couple of other email uh providers that are very um obviously Hotmail and Yahoo and these ones, but um and some people swear by, you know, 360, Microsoft 360.

00:22:55

Rhino Justice:
Anybody
Mighty Mike Reid:
They get the little download thing and they and they love it. They swear by it. Um I have it on my Mac. My Mac comes with an email server system. Um it just drives me crazy. I'm like just just be Google, you know. So
Rhino Justice:
anybody that I see that has a hot mail, I'm like, "Yeah, you're old school and haven't went ahead and came into the new
Mighty Mike Reid:
AOL
Rhino Justice:
age."
Mighty Mike Reid:
AOL. I mean some people do it and they've they've always known it and it works well for them. It's great. It's kind of like It's kind of like
Rhino Justice:
AOL
Mighty Mike Reid:
your server your server software. Yeah. Some people still have AOL.
Rhino Justice:
That's crazy.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. Little dialup sound ring, you know. So, but I but you know, my whole team, everybody gets a everybody gets a uh depending on what company they work for, they get a domain uh Google Workspace.

00:23:44

Mighty Mike Reid:
And you know, if you have a if as you build your team out, you can actually we just don't use a lot of the features too like they have a chat feature. You can actually chat within your uh organization. If Mark wants to share a Google sheet with me, he can share it with Mighty Team Mighty and anybody in the team can see it. If he doesn't have to change their permissions if they have a domain name of uh mighty automation.com, then they can access it. Like there's just so many reasons why Google Workspace is a better way to go in my opinion. But um but so yeah, you set that up and inside your uh DNS records, the same way you set up your website when we dial in your website is uh you go in that same place and you just select Gmail. Like if you have if you use NameCheep, which I recommend people use NameCheep um you just switch it um right inside of there to uh to using Gmail.

00:24:37

Mighty Mike Reid:
If you use other like GoDaddy or something like that, it's fine. But you have to take the MX records and upload them in to your domain settings um for Google Workspace and Google Workspace will walk you through it if you're new to it. Um so yeah, so marketing wise, we're um we're setting up a lot of different things. We're trying to give a lot of resources to the community, but my the thing I'm most excited about is the actual uh platform. So, we recently I just met with my developer. He's working today and um I'm trying to make it more user friendly and I am looking for beta testers to actually go in and you know create a job, you know, bid on jobs. Um it's all beta right now, so you don't you shouldn't pay for anything or if you get prompted to pay for anything, don't pay for anything on the app. But if you go to app.mightyprocessor.com and just play around with it, let me know the bugs that you find because we he's already into it uh pretty deep with the workflow.

00:25:38

Mighty Mike Reid:
Like you can actually chat with each other. Like Adele, if you go on to create a post, Jessica, you could like comment on it, like bid on it and then reply to each other. Hey, what's the documents? Where are they? That's really helpful. Like I need a few people to do that so that cuz I'm doing it but then I have to like go log into another account to do it and then go back to another account to test every single feature. Um but we're getting ready to launch the jobs board as well. um we have it on there but it's not really um obviously it's not active where but when but once it's active someone who posts a job you'll be able to bid on that job an amount and if they accept your bid they're going to pay you and it's going to prompt them immediately to upload documents and you know fill out the request and then pay you like it's not ready we're not live with that yet but they'll have the ability to pay you straight through the system and when it comes to ABC uh and people like that.

00:26:36

Mighty Mike Reid:
Like I'm actually going to reach out to these folks. We're putting minimums and so I'm interested to see how that's going to go. I'm thinking like a I'm going to start with like a $50 minimum. I don't know how Florida's going to like that, but we're going to start with like a $50 minimum and um and send it to I'm going to get the big process serving firms to to come in and we're going to give them some discounts to to use a system and see if we can get a couple thousand jobs in there nationwide and people can start bidding on them. And I really think that's going to that's going to like jumpstart the the tool. But the goal is that all the attorneys will start using it because attorneys now will come and they'll post jobs and they'll put estimated pay, you know, $100. It'll have a recommendation, right? So, we're setting it up. So, if it's a client, not a pro server, it'll say recommended, you know, for this area, it's recommended.

00:27:27

Mighty Mike Reid:
Estimated pay will be around $100 and we're going to put like 100, $120. But you got to be careful with price fixing and things like that. We don't want to do that. That's why it's going to be public. You're going to be able to see the the jobs that are posted. And then you won't see other people's bids, but you'll see your own bid and and they'll receive a bunch of bids from different people and they'll just pick the one that they want. And in the future, uh here really soon, he's working on the star system where it'll it'll hey, this person's verified. you know, they have their insuranceances uploaded, their license, their bonus, they're also a PI. Bonus, they're also a notary. It'll show little like cool logos like letting them know what what else the person I'm I'm having fun with it. Like, if it wasn't fun, I wouldn't do it, you know? I could be on a beach just relaxing somewhere with my eiling business and but I but I just I I enjoy helping and seeing process servers crush it.

00:28:23

Mighty Mike Reid:
And if a new process server from with no experience can join, bid on a few jobs and make a couple hundred dollar a day, like that's unheard of unless you know somebody. So, it's going to scare some people that that are that don't want change, that don't want to do marketing, that don't want to network, that don't the people who don't join. Um, so but I'm excited. Yeah, I'm excited about that. So, that's that's the stuff I talk about cuz I'm excited about it. But what else? What other things? I know we only got two of you guys on process servers on here, but what else do you guys want to talk about? We can talk about whatever you want. Yeah. Whatever you
Jessica Claycomb:
I
Mighty Mike Reid:
have to
Jessica Claycomb:
have a
Mighty Mike Reid:
do, Edge.
Jessica Claycomb:
kind of general question. Um,
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah.
Jessica Claycomb:
when you're thinking about expanding a service, but you don't have the jobs and the volume to do it, how do you make sure that I guess when the jobs do come in that you have people lined up and ready and able to do them if they haven't been able to have a, you know, a good amount to practice with.

00:29:36

Jessica Claycomb:
I guess it's kind of like that in limbo area.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. Yeah. So you want to you're looking for you're talking about like finding good quality servers
Jessica Claycomb:
Um,
Mighty Mike Reid:
in different areas or or you're just saying like
Jessica Claycomb:
yeah,
Mighty Mike Reid:
how
Jessica Claycomb:
it's
Mighty Mike Reid:
do
Jessica Claycomb:
not
Mighty Mike Reid:
you handle
Jessica Claycomb:
really different areas. It's just like in between that not so busy time and then getting busier, being able to handle more work, but you don't have the work yet. So, that makes sense.
Mighty Mike Reid:
yeah um that's the hard thing like I always tell people like if you have a job or you have a way that you're making money right now keep doing that until you get enough work that you can do it full-time. Um, but I think if you find if you if you do the be a backup and you network with affiliates and you're getting ail plenty of affiliate work, you're going to feel like you're running around almost like a minimum wage job.

00:30:32

Mighty Mike Reid:
Um, but if you do that long enough, you'll get enough attorney clients that you can start to say no to the affiliates. Yeah, that's I don't know. Did I answer your question?
Jessica Claycomb:
I probably didn't explain it well either.
Mighty Mike Reid:
I feel like because there's two different things the the main things when it comes to like that those growing pains is grow going from being able to uh pay your bills, right? That's why I say the 10K challenge. It's like how can we get to 10K a month consistently as fast as possible? Because if your bills are around fi five grand, like I've I've I've let my income creep, you know, I've let my lifestyle creep up with my income a little bit. Um, and so my my monthly budget's like 7,000 a month or whatever. So, but like and but I have like a lot of things I pay for, you know, a lot of uh comforts and cars and motorcycles and things. And so if your budget was5 or $7,000 a month, $10,000 a month, you can afford to pay for all the things you need.

00:31:38

Mighty Mike Reid:
And I don't know, I can't imagine much more money that you would actually need to to thrive unless you lived in Los Angeles where you're where your your rent or mortgage alone is 10, you know, $5,000 a month. But barring situations like that, um 10K a month can can cover most people in in the country. So So how can we get there? We can get there with attorneys. We can get there with contracts. We can get there with doing like Now you're a PI. Like as a PI, like you're working underneath somebody else. Can you go market for more business or no?
Jessica Claycomb:
I guess I can, but it'll go through her company.
Mighty Mike Reid:
And that's not bad. Especially if you say, "Hey, whatever jobs I bring into the to the company, can I handle them with your supervision?" That would be cool actually
Jessica Claycomb:
Right.
Mighty Mike Reid:
because then, you know, and so what types of cases are those?

00:32:30

Mighty Mike Reid:
Are they only surveillance, which is like the bread and butter of most private investigators I learned is like surveillance doing workers compensation surveillance cases is like what most um most PIs do. And that's when I did it. That's what everybody wanted me to do. They're like, "Can you surveil this one? Can you surveil that?" And it was like daily. They like really need lots of people. I guess people get hurt and and insurance companies are like, "It's a default." The insurance company's like, "Okay, send an investigator out." Like on every job, on every uh workers's compensation case, the insurance company's like required to hire somebody to come in and and and surveil you for a couple days at least to make sure you're not out there digging. Cuz if they catch you doing something, it's immediately insurance fraud. They don't have to pay it out. You can go to jail. Like they basically just got you over the fire.

00:33:24

Mighty Mike Reid:
You know, if they catch you, you supposedly hurt your back and you're out there doing like pull-ups and you got like a parkour course going on in your backyard, you know, you're toast, you know. So, good stuff. Good stuff. Yeah. lot lots of different things um we could go over, but the main thing is I want people to know um of the resources that you guys have like you can grow like we're talking about growing your business and making those calls. We'll get those uploaded by the end of this week um we're finishing the process server lists um for all the process servers across the country. We should have about five or 10 thousand um by the time we're done and we're going to invite them all. I figure we'll get about a thousand people in the community and that's all I need. We're actually I'm thinking about actually capping it at a thousand members. You know, any more than that um you know, maybe they pay I don't know.

00:34:16

Mighty Mike Reid:
Like I just want to have I want to have people who are engaged though. That's the problem. And if you get, you know, uh just a a group of like a hundred people who are really engaged and want to grow, man, that's a really great community. So I don't want to dampen that at all. Um, but one of the reasons why I stopped doing the teaching the process servers when I started the university back in the day, I called it PSD University. And one of the reasons I stopped is because I realized that there's so many process servers that don't treat it like a business. They treat it like a part-time job. And they're like, "No, okay, whatever." and they won't show up unless they and even when they paid $7 a month way back in those days, $7 a month, they still wouldn't uh take action on the things that I was teaching them marketing wise. I'm in a much different place in life now where I'm like, do it or don't do it.

00:35:06

Mighty Mike Reid:
I'm going to win. You know, I'm winning. So, I want you to win, too. So, here's all the tools I'm using, you know. Um, but yeah, Adele, you had something.
Rhino Justice:
So my my thing that I've been um just thinking of is because a lot of people talk about taxes and I know you're not like a tax professional. Well, either am I. I used to do taxes. But I just wonder like you know making the 10 grand, how much like every month are you really having to save for tax- wise would
Mighty Mike Reid:
That's a
Rhino Justice:
like
Mighty Mike Reid:
great
Rhino Justice:
good
Mighty Mike Reid:
question.
Rhino Justice:
amounts because I'm like is 10,000 enough with having to pay taxes in?
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. So, you should be putting aside at least 3,000. If you're making 10 grand, you should
Rhino Justice:
Okay.
Mighty Mike Reid:
be putting at least $3,000 away every single month. That's a great point. And I've actually been I've been caught u not doing that uh quite a few times.

00:35:57

Mighty Mike Reid:
And then I'm like, okay. So, for two or three months, I'm I'm like not spending any money and not going on any vacations and saving my money and paying catching up with Uncle Sam. If you don't, you'll you'll regret it. You're First of all, if you don't pay your quarterly and you're waiting till the end of the year to pay, you're already messing up.
Rhino Justice:
So you
Mighty Mike Reid:
That's
Rhino Justice:
pay
Mighty Mike Reid:
me.
Rhino Justice:
quarterly that
Mighty Mike Reid:
That's
Rhino Justice:
I have I haven't done that yet. I haven't started paying quarterlys
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah.
Rhino Justice:
yet.
Mighty Mike Reid:
I I'm not a tax professional, nor do I play one on TV, okay? But I can tell you that paying your quarterlys is probably the smartest thing you can do because two reasons why. one, this is what my accountant told me. This is just you got to ask an accountant to make sure this is right for your LLC type, for your state, right?

00:36:48

Mighty Mike Reid:
There's a lot of factors here, okay? But if you pay quarterlys, most of the time the government, federal government, so no matter what state you're in, if you don't pay quarterly, they charge you interest. So if you don't pay until the end of the year, you actually pay interest on the amount that you that you finally are determined to owe. So, when you finally do file and you say, "Yeah, looks like I owe you $1,000." If you know, if there's interest, then then they charge an interest rate. If you pay quarterly, you're paying only a little bit of interest because it's only had two or three months to accumulate. And then you pay the quarterly and so the interest um starts over every quarter, right? That's how interest works. It's based on how much you owe and how long you owed it and didn't pay it. And so if you're paying quarterlies, your interest uh doesn't uh accumulate throughout the whole year. And then when you're done at the end of the year, you've paid four payments and it's just what your t and then they and then they look at your tax bill and they go, you actually owed $2,000, right?

00:37:49

Mighty Mike Reid:
So now you got to pay an extra grand because you've only been paying $250 every quarter.
Rhino Justice:
Okay.
Mighty Mike Reid:
So you got to pay an extra grand and you got to pay interest on that 1,000 because you didn't pay it. But but that first thousand you already paid quarterly, you know, you paid a quarterly on, you don't pay interest as much interest on it. And finally, if you don't pay that and you file an extension, you pay a fine every year that you don't file on time. So basically, you don't pay just pay 30%, you pay 50%. If you don't file every year, you're paying 50%.
Rhino Justice:
Okay.
Mighty Mike Reid:
When you do pay, when you do finally pay. So, probably the best the best advice. And here's the other thing. As you do the saving part of it and you're saving and you're saving and you're saving, there's no better security blanket than having cash in the bank to say, you know, let's just say 3 months go by, you've been s making 10,000 a month.

00:38:46

Mighty Mike Reid:
You have nine grand in the bank. If you had to go, you know, if you had to go a couple months or whatever and your business is going to fail, like things are happening and you just decide to get out of the business, whatever, you got $9,000 cushion and at the end of the year you say, "My business failed," you know, and you move on, you know, you go file a bankruptcy or what, whatever, whatever you got to do, you know, depending on your business type. Luckily, I've never had to do that. I've gotten pretty close a couple times uh because I'm an all-in kind of person and I'm like, you know, let's just go all in. Let's just make it happen. And it's turned out to work well for me. But yeah, taxes probably the thing. H having a bookkeeper uh to keep track of things inside of QuickBooks.
Rhino Justice:
Mhm.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. Hiring uh an accounting firm to handle that for you.

00:39:36

Mighty Mike Reid:
budgeting that and and and putting 3,000. Again, this is based on $10,000 a month. Putting at least $3,000 a month. And then what you do eventually when you're making 30 $40,000 a month, you go, "Uh, Mike, I've been saving $10,000 a month because that's 30%, right? 33 and a third, right? If you're making $30,000 a month, you save making 40,000." You see what I mean? So now you got 100 grand at the end of the year. Well, now you're looking at uh this is what I do is like you got 100 100 grand, you know, 200 grand at the end of the year. You've been paying your if you've been paying your quarterlys, then you don't. The government has it. And so what people will do, this is where people are like, "What do you mean pay quarterlys?" Well, if you're making that much, you don't pay quarterly because what you're going to do is before you actually submit your tax at the end of the year, you're going to buy things.

00:40:26

Mighty Mike Reid:
So, you might invest in real estate and show and use um something called a cost segregation study. We're not going to go over in detail, but basically you're saying, "I bought this property and I lost $100,000 in in um the appreciation on this property that I bought that that I bought. Um could you give me a break on this 100 grand that I owe with my process serving company?" And the answer is yes, if you do it right. So that's why you wouldn't pay quarterly because you're saving the money just in case and then at the end of the year you're going and saying I want to invest in this multif family asset. I'm going to put 100 grand in this multif family asset. You might be like well what what happens next year cuz I'm going to have another 100 grand. This is why people get into real estate because they'll take that 100 they'll put another 100 grand into an apartment complex with a group of other people. And this is what I've done.

00:41:23

Mighty Mike Reid:
And then I get you get checks every quarter back from them in dividend payments and u that's more income that you have to claim but you just put that back into more real estate. And so the way to pay zero tax is to level up. And the only way you can level up to that level where you're paying that 100, you know, where you're getting that 100 200 grand at the end of the year is to well a make more money but get in a habit of saving while the money is low. You got to get in the habit of saving while it's only $3,000 a month. Or let's say let's say you're making only $3,000 a month. Can you put a th000 a month aside? That's when it's tough.
Rhino Justice:
Not these days with groceries,
Mighty Mike Reid:
But but you can't afford not to either, right? You can't afford not to because at the end of the year that Uncle Sam is going to go,

00:42:14

Rhino Justice:
right?
Mighty Mike Reid:
it's it's not just a,000 a month, which would be 12 grand at the end of the year. It's not just a thousand a month. It's 1,300 per month because you got fined and there's interest, right? So, you know, that's the great uh that's the great American trap, you know.
Rhino Justice:
You
Mighty Mike Reid:
Uh
Rhino Justice:
just got to make sure you have enough dependence. So you can just go ahead and get a little bit of that so that it evens it out.
Mighty Mike Reid:
yeah, but then but then you move into that's earned income credit. So, the only way the dependence really matter is if you're under like 200,000.
Rhino Justice:
True.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Like I I when before I before I started my B first couple years too is earned income credits is what you get when you have dependence
Rhino Justice:
Mhm.
Mighty Mike Reid:
and you'll get like a I would get a check for $5,000 per year for the dependence. But then as soon as you start making about I think it's like 183 you go into the next tax bracket you ain't getting no earned income credits.

00:43:08

Mighty Mike Reid:
Uncle Sam's like you don't get no earned income credits when you make that much money. This is why you got to talk to an accountant because an accountant will go, "You know what? You're better off taking some of this income and instead of calling it income, because that's the highest tax you ever pay is on personal income, then uh instead of paying yourself as an employee, maybe pay yourself as an employee a low amount like a $40,000 a year type of thing." And so they take out your personal taxes and just all the other money you leave in your account and um buy things with the account. Like I was talking with my partner Desi uh about some stuff and we we were like instead of taking money out, why don't we do an expense account and we actually buy things that could be a tax write off. And so that could be gas, that could be vehicles, that could be um travel, that could be so many things if you're smart about it, but you got to keep your receipts.

00:44:07

Mighty Mike Reid:
So, we talked about that and I was like, "Yeah, that's not a bad idea actually. Just just make that an expense account and uh and then you can all your travels paid for, whatever." Uh and you just write that off. All of it's right off. or if you transfer it to yourself, which is what most of us do when we first start and we we just need that money. Let me just transfer it from my if you're if you're keeping your business account, your personal account separate, which I hope you are, you're transferring yourself money all the time, which is called
Rhino Justice:
Yep.
Mighty Mike Reid:
a div, which is technically like a dividend payment. If you're an investor, it'd be like a dividend payment, like an investor payment. And once you take that payment, it's fully taxable. the full amount is taxable. So, you have to you have to find a way to write it off um if you want it to be zeroed out, right, with the government.

00:45:02

Mighty Mike Reid:
Okay, Jessica, thank you for coming. Oh, she's gone. Thank you. Thank you for coming. Um I see Natasha came on. What's up, Natasha? How are you? We're just hanging out over here. making it happen. Oh, you're muted, hun. Can I me? I don't know. Yeah, you're muted.
Rhino Justice:
I told you.
Natasha McDaniel:
Can you hear me?
Mighty Mike Reid:
Oh, there you are. Yeah.
Natasha McDaniel:
There we are. Yep. Sorry I got on so late. I was dealing with some issues with a few people here.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. Yeah, no worries. Yeah, we're just we're having some tax conversation. Uh try not to have a stroke.
Natasha McDaniel:
Already had mine.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Don't say that. Oh, that's
Natasha McDaniel:
Oh yeah.
Mighty Mike Reid:
worse. Yeah. This is why I'm walking every day and trying to trying to get healthy and make make my circulation stay pretty consistent and obviously lose weight and just keep your stress levels down and stuff.

00:46:17

Mighty Mike Reid:
But yeah, process serving can be pretty stressful, too.
Natasha McDaniel:
Absolutely. I'm doing the same on this end. I made some new uh I won't say agreements, but um goals and
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah.
Natasha McDaniel:
with my nieces and nephews that I would lose some weight and be able to get out and play football and tennis with them this
Mighty Mike Reid:
Oh,
Natasha McDaniel:
summer.
Mighty Mike Reid:
there you go.
Natasha McDaniel:
So, yeah, I've got a lot to do.
Mighty Mike Reid:
You know, tennis is one of the most fun get like I remember trying to play tennis with my with my dad when I was younger and I was basically just like I was just round
Rhino Justice:
What sauce is
Mighty Mike Reid:
and
Rhino Justice:
in here?
Mighty Mike Reid:
I couldn't get anywhere. What's that Adele?
Rhino Justice:
that the I just took a picture of this.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Okay. Um, okay. So, yeah. Yeah. Uh, tennis is like one of the most fun games.

00:47:07

Mighty Mike Reid:
I remember playing when I was a kid. It was just I was just round and couldn't move from one side of the court to the other. And I I'm sure I'd struggle with it now, but in college, I actually really enjoyed tennis. I got pretty fast where I could go from one side to the other pretty quick. And that's a fun game. You
Natasha McDaniel:
It
Mighty Mike Reid:
have a
Natasha McDaniel:
is.
Mighty Mike Reid:
lot of fun.
Natasha McDaniel:
I thoroughly enjoy it.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah, you can have fun. Um, so yeah. Any any other business things? Any other questions or concerns or how's it going with your business?
Natasha McDaniel:
business is going well. Um, I'm still trying to meet the 10,000 goal. Um, struggling a little bit with that, but I'm working towards the goals.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. You know, I think when you're when you're serving papers and you're um you're just you got doing the marketing thing and you got the website, you know, and you're making your calls, be the backup.

00:48:00

Mighty Mike Reid:
There's not a whole lot you can do but wait for the calls and wait for and keep prospecting every day, like trying to prospect every day. Um but there's some things being creative and like pushing, right? uh that you can do that I've that I don't talk about a lot. But like one thing is like literally just going into parallegals offices and be like I just want to see how I can help you. Like going into the law office and just being like hey I'm just happen to be in the area. I thought I'd stop in and build personal connections with them. Um is probably the it's the goal ultimate goal when you be the backup is to build not like personal unprofessional relationships necessarily but but like you know them as a person. So, like if their favorite chocolate is, you know, like one example is like when I my son and I, we bought this dumpster company and we've been driving dumpsters to the to the landfill and uh the lady at the landfill, if she hates you, she can make your life a living hell.

00:49:00

Mighty Mike Reid:
She can. And so I brought her some like truffle uh chocolate one time. And she was like, "Oh, I really like the ones with uh nuts and coconuts or whatever." and she was like really nice, you know, and u so I went and got the kind she wanted and I brought it and ever since then she's like oh no don't worry about it you just keep going through the thing like you know my our
Natasha McDaniel:
Oh,
Mighty Mike Reid:
life is
Natasha McDaniel:
nice.
Mighty Mike Reid:
so our life is so easy when we go to the dump but if I would have been like because there was a couple times where I could have been a Karen where I was like well you didn't you didn't uh check this or you didn't do that and I could have done that but it would have completely misunderstood the assignment uh that she has control to make my life hell. She can even just keep her little shop window shut while I wait there for 10 minutes, which she's done before.

00:49:46

Mighty Mike Reid:
And but
Natasha McDaniel:
Wow.
Mighty Mike Reid:
once but once I gave her the chocolate, we just man, we're right through. We're just go on the scales way and go dump and get out of there, you know. And uh I think it's that way with process serving, too. You go to a gate guard, you know, and you if you find yourself going there on a regular basis rather than being a car and just be like, "Hey man, how are you how is it out here? like is this a nice community? Like just start talk talking about random things and try to build uh connections with people. It's probably one of the best things you can do.
Natasha McDaniel:
I'll try that. Thank you.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. No. Yeah. Well, it's for anybody, but just uh but yeah, let me know if you're trying different things. Uh let me let me know what's working for you. I'd love to love that that feedback to help people other people as well.

00:50:32

Mighty Mike Reid:
Not your competition though. Yeah, I don't want to help your competition. So, um, so Mark, you said we have some podcast interviews today. You're muted, buddy. My gym boy.
Mark Success Team:
No, that's going to be for the 20th.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Okay. Awesome. Awesome. So, um, oh, the 20th. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. So, yeah. Yeah, we're doing we're relaunching Process Server Daily, the podcast. Um, we started I started a new podcast, Mighty Process Server, but I recently decided that we're going to uh switch it up and relaunch the old podcast. Um, it already has thousands of subscribers already. So, immediately when we start posting, everybody will get them. Um and then we'll keep we'll keep doing the interviews on there and we'll do all the topic based interviews and things on the mighty process server YouTube channel.

00:51:31

Mighty Mike Reid:
Uh we've recently with the help of my ninja Netti um we've just we've uh been we've launched um a bunch of reels and posts and different things. And so we're testing the market to see uh what process servers actually enjoy what like they want to watch, they want to learn more about uh on social media so that ultimately we can get them to join our community, right? And they could be a part of our community and actually build this community. uh to be the most engaged community online. That's my goal. Uh people that are that are doing it. So, Process Server Daily is how we're doing that right now. We're going to relaunch it. And I'm excited. I'm actually going to do a new intro. And so, one of the reasons why I want to do some interviews before we uh launch is because I want to do an intro that shows people in the community, right? uh on our uh testimonial page, we have something um uh where it has like testimonials and if you go to the website on the homepage at mighty processerver.com, you scroll down, you see the testimonial page and so on on the intro to processerver daily, what I would love to do is have it where we can take clips from each of those interview just quick little snippets where it's like, you know, you know, you were listening to

00:52:54

Mighty Mike Reid:
process server daily, you know, and then Somebody's like, you know, I just you just kind of knock on the door, you know, just kind of go out and serve. I want to take little little clips, just a couple little clips and uh put them as the intro and then the outro and just make it super cool and relaunch it. And we're going to change the sponsorships uh over to uh Mighty Process Server on all the episodes. So Netty, get ready to edit all the old episodes, all of them. We're going to change them to to be new and exciting and uh and then we're going to uh interview more people. Like there's so many process servers I haven't interviewed that have been in the industry for a long time that I would love to interview. If you're a process server out there and you're like, you know what, I could I could really tell Mike a really cool story like this one thing happened, this other thing happened. I'd love to be a guest on the show.

00:53:47

Mighty Mike Reid:
Then reach out to us. just go to mightyprocesserver.com and uh click on podcast and you can actually fill out the ask mighty mike a question and it'll you can actually put your information in there and uh and tell us your story and if you got a great story we'll invite you to be a guest on the show. Okay, I want to fill the calendar
Rhino Justice:
I think I'm set up for next week. I'm very nervous about doing it. Just letting you know.
Mighty Mike Reid:
you're going to totally bomb then I'm just kidding. You're going to be great, Adele. Adele, you are an example
Rhino Justice:
Yeah,
Mighty Mike Reid:
just like Jess Jessica and other people of someone taking action that's just going out there trying to take action and doing everything you can to grow your business. So, you just get on there and talk, you know, just share your thing. I'm also putting together a panel of people in different areas. I know there'll be competitors, but I still think it'd be fun to talk about.

00:54:43

Mighty Mike Reid:
Like, I know you're in the Houston area, right?
Rhino Justice:
Mhm.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah, I know Sandra uh a couple other people. Um just bring on people that are from the same area and talk about the laws in that local in your in the local area. So I have to get with you guys um via a direct message, but I I do want to set that up. you know, or you know, one person may know a lot about evictions in an area, another person may know a lot about something else. And um, you know, like posting notices for evictions versus family court and filing proofs of service on, you know, probate cases, you know, whatever it is. Like having those conversations are helpful for people who land on the website and they they find themselves confused about how to serve certain things. We want to answer all those questions on the website.
Rhino Justice:
What's cool?
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah, you you'll do great. No worries. We'll just have a conversation.

00:55:43

Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. About your business. And uh we'll try at some point we'll try to uh to create a little clip. I say, "What makes your business different than other businesses out there?" You know, that's your opportunity to shine. So maybe practice something that's like along the lines of, "Well, at Rhino Justice, we believe in putting the customer first." You know, something like that. And then we'll clip that up. Netty will clip that up and give it to you uh as a little clip to put on your website. That'd be cool.
Rhino Justice:
It it it's so funny just this week. It's I don't I don't know. Maybe it's I feel like it's a generation thing. Maybe it's not a generation thing. It just is like being raised. But it's crazy cuz I had one of my affiliates was using someone else um decide to use someone else for a little while and I was getting a little bit less work and then again they went back to me and I'm like why why keep using somebody different when you know like the service is good like but I don't understand how I mean like I just don't understand how people actually decide to be process servers and

00:56:43

Rhino Justice:
don't decide to do a good job. Like it just baffles me. But I guess that you know that's not like the norm. But
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. They have a
Rhino Justice:
I
Mighty Mike Reid:
short they have a short timeline for what matters,
Rhino Justice:
and
Mighty Mike Reid:
right?
Rhino Justice:
to me like you just get out there. I'm like it's not hard to go and send affidavit back. I'm
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah.
Rhino Justice:
like I don't
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah.
Rhino Justice:
know. Guess
Mighty Mike Reid:
I mean,
Rhino Justice:
priorities.
Mighty Mike Reid:
I've gotten people I've gotten people that signed up for Mighty Premium and then three months later they cancel and I didn't even know they like I don't even know this person. They never showed up to a Zoom meeting. They never showed up to uh in the community. They signed up. They're like, I want to cancel. I didn't even get lo details. And I'm like, I think you're confused about what you signed up for.

00:57:23

Mighty Mike Reid:
Like, you know, give them a full refund and just say like, you know, good luck. you know,
Rhino Justice:
Yeah.
Mighty Mike Reid:
some people just aren't engaged. They just want to do the minimum. They want to they want whatever it is. They want it for free. And if they do pay for it, they want the world.
Rhino Justice:
Thank
Mighty Mike Reid:
Um,
Rhino Justice:
you.
Mighty Mike Reid:
so when it comes to why do some people crawl when you're able to run, you know, why do some people drop the ball and don't really care? It's because they don't really treat it like a business. They treat it like
Rhino Justice:
Mhm.
Mighty Mike Reid:
a part-time job.
Rhino Justice:
Mhm.
Mighty Mike Reid:
If you if you treat it like a part-time job, your bank account will treat you like a part-time job. Okay? If you treat it like a part-time job, you will look at your bank account and go like, "I need more money in here."

00:58:07

Mighty Mike Reid:
You know, you got to treat it like a full-time job. Literally, you wake up at 8:00. Oh, crew. I got to be at work at 9ine. They're like, "But you own your own business." No, no, no, no. I got to be at work at nine. Mike's gonna kill me. You know, I gotta be or whatever construct you want to create. But you show up 9:00, make your calls between 9 and 11, right when the parillegals are getting there. 9 and 11. Try not to do Mondays or Fridays. Okay? And uh I would do I would do Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday every day calling. If you do Friday, it's just uh um maybe followup people who weren't available during the week. And then you just, you know, follow up Friday and then you just um you go into offices. Once you get a little piece of information, you get somebody's name.

00:58:56

Mighty Mike Reid:
You know, if I find out Adele is a parallegal who is really sweet to me at a at a law office, I'm going to get get my rate sheet. I'm going to print it on glossy paper. I'm going to uh maybe a couple of them. I'm going to I'm going to get like a a little basket or something if I find something that looks kind of cute or whatever and I'm going to go in there and be like, "Yeah, I'm here for Adele." And they're like, they don't know who I am. Or do they care? They're It could be any parallegal or any attorney. And I'm like, I'm here for Adele. And then they're like, she she may even be the one you're talking to. Like, I'm I'm Adele. And you're like, um, oh yeah, I talked to you on the phone. Remember, blah, blah, blah. Yeah. I have this um you know I have this uh I got this thing for you and uh I just I just was to be in the area and I thought you were you were so cool on the phone and like I sent you my RA TV email but I thought I'd give you a physical copy of it too.

00:59:49

Mighty Mike Reid:
You have a face, you have a personality, you have a thing and I always joke about flirting with the parallegals. I mean I actually did back in the day but that's building personal relationships. I didn't even know that's what I was doing. Right.
Rhino Justice:
Mhm.
Mighty Mike Reid:
I didn't even realize that's what I was doing. But but even ones that were just nice to me, I never like took out. I just talked to them. I built personal like bonds with them. So they were like, I want to give him a shot. I want to try I want to try him out, you know? And I think if you look at it that way, you just go in and be like, "Yeah, I talked to so and so and I just wanted to come in and bring you some. I just thought you seem really cool." They they might go, "Oh, so you want to steal the business? I

01:00:30

Mighty Mike Reid:
thought you wanted to just be the backup, huh? They just want to be the backup. No, everybody knows you're in this for the business, right? Like, of course you are. And so, no one's going to call you out. I If they did, it'd be funny if they did. You'd be like, "Oh, yeah. You got me." You know, but most people are just going to go like, "Oh, thank you so much." You know, and and and and I would find one thing to talk about in the office. Like this one attorney's office, he loved dragons and stuff. Well, he had this big old golden dragon that like came inside the the lobby of his law office and uh and I'd be like, "Man, that is such a cool dragon." You know, they see it all the time. So, like, "Oh, yeah." Be like, "That's so cool. I wonder if it's real gold." And

01:01:11

Mighty Mike Reid:
they're like, "I don't know." Just like chatting, you know, and if they're too busy, of course, don't push it. Just be like, "Okay, thank you." Well, hey, let me know if you have any questions. I actually go to the court every day. Even if you don't, like I go to the court every day. I'm actually in this area live. if you ever want me to pick up a serve and go try it for you, um I could definitely go knock out an attempt. Um that's that's like the extra way. So I make the calls the calls calls make the connections of getting people's names and then when you're out serving, you put them in your Road Warrior. I've talked about this before, but you put them in your Road Warrior as save locations, your app, whatever app you use, save locations, all the attorney's offices. And when you're over there in that area serving somebody, you literally can say, "I was in the area."

01:01:57

Mighty Mike Reid:
You're over there serving somebody, you stop in. If it's during a business hours, you stop in and you're like, "Who who's the person?" You make a note in your Road Warrior under the save location. Who is the person? Here's a reason why it's worth worth the effort. Because these people aren't going anywhere. This is your local market. So, if there's a hundred, you have a hundred. And once you've made a connection with that one, now you have 99 left and you have 365 days left in the year if you're one calendar year, right? And so you go and you talk to another one and so you don't have to rush it and because you have a long vision for the future of like in five years from now I'll be the top Rhino Justice will be the top process serving company in Houston, right?
Rhino Justice:
Yep. Say
Mighty Mike Reid:
And you
Rhino Justice:
it
Mighty Mike Reid:
get
Rhino Justice:
out loud.

01:02:47

Mighty Mike Reid:
and you get up every morning and you say it, you know, you see it. Rhino Justice award uh you know, you know, for top company, you know, Houston, top Houston company. Boom, boom, boom. You know, city city recognizes Rano Justice for for top uh community leader. That's what our dumpster company got. This one called the cow award. Community on the way award uh from Mighty Dumpsters.
Rhino Justice:
I seen that.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. And I'm like uh no other company would win this. Like there's a car dealership here. There's like all these other companies. I'm so shocked that they didn't I mean I just paid like 4,000 over the course of like three months in dump fees. And so in a way it's I had to pay for it, right? But for me it was a no-brainer. I'm helping veterans. I'm getting my name out there. I'm able to share inside the Facebook group.

01:03:41

Mighty Mike Reid:
has 13,000 people in it, right? So, as a process server networking and building and just uh killing obscurity, like taking, you know, a knife and stabbing obscurity, be like, I need everyone to know who I am in this area. You know, it doesn't necessarily have to even be your face. It can just be your brand. It could be your logo. It could be your, you know, your rhino, you know, whatever. even though you guys have great faces. Um, any other questions? Any other uh things? I have I got meetings upon meetings upon meetings. So, if you guys need help every Tuesday, this is the place to come. Come ask your questions. Come bring your your um your concerns, right? Things that you're struggling with. If you're watching the replay of this, let us know what you got the most out of in this uh meeting and how we can because it helps us make the make the meetings better.

01:04:43

Mighty Mike Reid:
And if you're not already a member of Mighty Process Server, go join. It's free. You can join the community for free and get the knowledge that I teach in there for free. And if you decide to become a mighty premium member, become a member of Mighty Nation, uh you get all the bells and whistles and bonuses uh added on and you lock in your rate at $57 a month. You know, you get locked in with all of the different things no matter how how high it goes. I could see it being $97 a month easily once the app is in full swing. And so whatever you sign up at, that's what you stay at, you know. So, it's it's it's a good way of getting those early adopters to get the cheaper rates and then as it goes, it's going to go up in price. I'm going to keep it at 57 here for a little while, but if you sign up during the month of May, we're going to give you all the attorneys in your local area inside your CRM that we give you as a bonus.

01:05:39

Mighty Mike Reid:
Um, you don't have to pay for a CRM anymore. Um, right now we don't have the ability to manage your serves, but that's coming. the ability to uh upload services and make attempts and put your attempts in there and do proofs. We're using a lot of AI tools that we're going to be adding. It's going to make it really cool, really easy. No more 2:00 in the morning doing proofs like that. Those days are over. You know, we're not faxing people anymore. Uh this is done. We're in a new world, you guys. Like literally, there's robots, AI robots walking around and cars, self-driving cars. We we we can I think we can manage putting some words on a piece of paper without spending four or five hours doing proofs. If you guys are anything like me, that's what I did. I'd go serve all day. I'd serve in the evening and then I'd get home se.

01:06:37

Mighty Mike Reid:
I'd try to eat some food. I'd sit down at my desk and I would put all of my field sheets off in a row of papers and that's what would tell me I need to look this up in serve manager. I would look it up. I would put the details, make sure the details if I didn't put them in the app, which I mostly didn't because I had this system. I look at the date and time, put it in the system, do the proof, five or 10 minutes doing the proof, print it, sign it, do the next one, and there'd be like 30 or 40. Okay.
Rhino Justice:
I have
Mighty Mike Reid:
Minimum
Rhino Justice:
a question. Did
Mighty Mike Reid:
minimum
Rhino Justice:
your pro
Mighty Mike Reid:
20.
Rhino Justice:
did your proofs take that long just because you're not putting them in a system because they weren't they weren't generated?
Mighty Mike Reid:
No. So, they were in the system already, but I would have to go in and I would put them I would put in the service details.

01:07:24

Mighty Mike Reid:
And I was very detailed. I put in the service details. I would print the proof of service once it was printed. Well, if I'm the one signing it, I would print the proof two copies of the proof of service. They'd print out together and then I would take them, staple them, separate them, put paperclipip them, right, sign them, and then um I would batch it, basically batch it. And so, yeah, it would take at least five minutes each one.
Rhino Justice:
Okay,
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah, I was also bad at it. You know, when I got married to Ally, she uh my ex-wife, she she was way better at it and she was faster, too. Yeah.
Rhino Justice:
that's what I was going to say. I'm like pretty quick. I still think I do like old school cuz like even now I'm like I I don't do with my at least for me like I do all my surge during the day then at night I go ahead and come home.

01:08:06

Rhino Justice:
I go through every single I get my field sheets out, go through go ahead and put them all in and then I have different folders of like the ones that like are affiliates and stuff like that and then my my lawyer folder and so like I go ahead and put in those folders and then when I get payments I go ahead and get the payments go back to the folder market off paid.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Wow. Yeah. So, so just that process right there, you know, the ability to do it all online inside of a system server manager, you could do most of what you just mentioned. You could do the
Rhino Justice:
Yeah.
Mighty Mike Reid:
server, you could do the invoicing and then check your invoices and you know, but but the ability to have it all on the phone and and
Rhino Justice:
Mhm.
Mighty Mike Reid:
have it all on the phone and you don't have to like and the app isn't working because you have don't have a signal or all this different stuff. There's just a list of things that don't work.

01:08:56

Mighty Mike Reid:
Almost like we're living in the 50s, you know, which is wild because uh well, I don't want to get into moon landing and all this, but can you imagine that they flew a rocket to the moon that long ago? Like long time ago, and now we're just getting technology is now back in in line. It would like it, love it, hate it. You got to use it if you want to be a relevant. You want to be relevant in the in the industry.
Rhino Justice:
Exactly. My my son actually was just talking about that. He's like, "Mom, when we were down by South Padre, he's like, "Did we actually see like rockets that are going up?" And I'm like, "Yeah, we are seeing the test rockets. like they are literally cuz I mean they blew up and stuff too. I was like it's literally test rockets. They're they're going to go up again. It's not just going to go ahead and everybody's going to be staying down here all the time.

01:09:49

Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And if anyone has his way, there will be life on Mars. And I
Rhino Justice:
Yep.
Mighty Mike Reid:
would not and I would not I would not bet against that. Not that I'm going to go. I'm not going. I'll I'll let a few hundred thousand people go up before I even think about it. Actually, I'll never do it. Actually, I'm just
Rhino Justice:
I
Mighty Mike Reid:
say that,
Rhino Justice:
like I
Mighty Mike Reid:
right?
Rhino Justice:
need that them to go up and then come back down before I'd want to go up.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Yeah. That's cool. Katy Perry style. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just go up and look at the moon. Look at the look at the I I don't I didn't I don't know all the details, but I don't know why people would hate on her for that.

01:10:27

Mighty Mike Reid:
Like like oh it was just a stunt or whatever. I'm like she went to space like what color is your Bugatti? You know that's like a new that's like a Andrew Tate saying is he says people hate on you. What color is your Bugatti? You know Bugattis are like $5 million. He's
Rhino Justice:
Mhm.
Mighty Mike Reid:
like oh my bad. You don't like my Bugatti? What color is yours? You know, I don't have one. You know, okay. Well, then you should shut up. Don't judge people that go to space until you till you've been till you've been to space. So, but yeah. So, so process serving, you know, you guys, if you have questions, let me know. I actually have the girls calling um the 123 girls. What's up, team 123? You guys, you guys getting some uh getting a hold of some folks?

01:11:18

Mighty Mike Reid:
A lot of the process servers on Google that we've scraped don't have emails or websites on on Google. And so we're having to call them and say, "Dude, are you in business? How is it going with that? You can unmute.
Rods Support:
Yes. Um, we were able to call process servers on Boston, Massachusetts today, earlier today and uh we already got one but uh we got it from naps. We are uh we were not able to get some pros uh using uh Google but with naps uh we got one.
Mighty Mike Reid:
Oh, you guys don't have the list. Uh, you went through Hawaii already. So, you guys
Rods Support:
Yeah.
Mighty Mike Reid:
need to
123 Support Team:
Yeah.
Mighty Mike Reid:
So, you're waiting on Mark on me and Mark and Edge to
Rods Support:
Yes.
Mighty Mike Reid:
upload the list. Okay. Okay. So we So yeah, we're getting ready to add a lot of people to your list uh to call.

01:12:20

Mighty Mike Reid:
So if you guys are process service and you get a call from uh the the
123 Support Team:
So,
Mighty Mike Reid:
123 ladies, they are legitimately putting in your rates and your email and everything into our CRM so that we can send you work in your area. Uh, one of the reasons why is because if we don't have somebody on the directory, uh, for mighty process server, um, 123 legal support, my company is there and we do get lots of quote requests and when we do, the lady's got to find somebody in the area and hire you. Um, my preference is that rather than hire you and pay you $80, um, we would rather you sign up for the directory and you can get all the work directly sent to you. Right, Mark? Mark gets a quote request for people. It automatically goes to you to your email, but Mark sees
Mark Success Team:
Mhm.
Mighty Mike Reid:
it and and sees if people are getting getting quote requests or not. And so if you we would rather it go that way and then you're able to log in and now with the app that we're creating once it goes live you'll be able to actually get in log in and actually edit your profile.

01:13:34

Mighty Mike Reid:
You can do that now. You can edit your profile but the tool isn't live. Um I guess it is live but we're not promoting it yet to attorneys. Uh once it's fully functional we'll start um we're going to start promoting it to attorneys. Uh, and I'm actually going to do something a little different. I haven't announced this yet, but we're actually going to take um, uh, Google lets you retarget people based on email address. And since we're going to have the email address for every licensed attorney in the country, um, we're going to have the I'm I'm going to say we're going to have the most uh, we're going to have the most uh, uh, what did you say? Thrifty. thrifty Google retargeting campaign in the world because we're only sending marketing to people who are licensed attorneys. Now, parillegals do a lot of the hiring. So, we'll see how it works. You know, we'll see how it works.

01:14:34

Mighty Mike Reid:
But, uh, but I'm excited. There's only good things to come. We're going to change the industry and I think it's going to happen. And a lot of the old folks that have been in the industry for a long time that aren't taking action with technology are going to be shocked. They're going, "Oh, here's a guy that was making videos. Like, what what is this thing?" And then boom, all the businesses coming through our app or going directly to you because on the directory, if somebody finds you on the directory, they can hire you directly on on your list from your listing, which is one of the ways they can do it. The other way is they can actually just post it and get bids from other servers. So you it's not just who's who charges the cheapest because we're putting minimums. I think we're doing a $50 minimum which is not great. I know that. But some places like Florida are getting paid like 18 bucks.
